The RedactNinja public website uses Google Analytics and Google AdSense. The SAR, PDF and image workspaces do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and need no cookies to process documents.

How consent works on this website
Google's scripts load when a page opens, with Google Consent Mode set to deny analytics and advertising storage until you choose. Denied storage does not mean no network requests reach Google: Google may still receive basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type. If you accept, analytics and advertising cookies are allowed. If you reject, they stay denied.
Analytics
With your consent, Google Analytics measures page visits, traffic sources and clicks on links to the workspaces, Chrome extension, downloads and donation page. It is never used to collect document contents, file names, case references or redaction terms.
Advertising
Google AdSense shows ads on public pages. With your consent, Google may use cookies to personalise and measure ads. Without consent, Google may still show non-personalised or limited ads.
Your saved choice
Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the name
redactninja_cookie_consent, so the banner does not appear on every page. It is not sent
to RedactNinja. If your browser blocks local storage, you will be asked again on each visit.
Hosting provider logs
The hosting provider records ordinary server logs when pages are requested. These are not cookies and are not controlled by the cookie banner. The privacy notice explains them.
Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website and all three workspaces work without cookies.
