These terms explain the basis on which the RedactNinja public website and its three browser workspaces are made available by Redact Ninja.

Using the workspaces

These terms cover the public website, the SAR workspace at app.redactninja.com, the PDF toolkit at pdf.redactninja.com and the image tools at image.redactninja.com. Document conversions and recognition have limitations; keep your originals and check the output. Organisations should evaluate the SAR workspace against their own policies before using it for live SAR work.

No legal advice

RedactNinja is a review aid. It does not provide legal advice and does not decide whether information should be disclosed, withheld or redacted. Users remain responsible for their own review decisions.

User responsibility

Check that the site loads over a valid HTTPS connection before using real data.
Review all suggested redactions before exporting.
Check exported PDFs and disclosure packs before sending them to a requester.
Keep encrypted case file passwords safely. RedactNinja cannot recover them.
Do not upload, email or share live SAR files unless an approved process exists.

Availability

The workspaces may change as the product is improved. No service level agreement is offered through this public website.

Intellectual property

RedactNinja, the site design and the product materials are protected by copyright and other rights. You may not copy or resell the product without permission.
